Project aims: Project for a client based in Co. Dublin to develop a searchable on-line database of 20,000 Irish mariners active in 1918-1921, based on his extensive personal research. Over time, additional pages will be added to provide on-line exhibitions focusing on specific geographical areas,
and linking in to physical exhibitions that will be set up based on the archive. We were approached to undertake the work as a result of the similar Welsh Mariners website developed a few years earlier. The site went live in March 2008.
